Our History
Built in 1891 as the Tourist Hotel, Bird Rock is today one of the oldest hotels on the island and enjoys historic status. If you look closely, you can still see the original name inlaid in the bricks on the very top of the building on the First Street side.

Free Beach Cruiser Bikes
Ride our complimentary, sturdy, single speed Cruisers to the Farmer's Market, your favorite gallery or a cozy cafe on the waterfront. Explore the nearest beach, go golfing or ride through lush valleys to the Vineyard for a tasting.
Our Cruisers are meant to add fun and wind in your hair to your getaway, not to be your main transportation on the isle.
We check out the bikes on a first-come-first serve basis and have never once run out. Helmets are available for people under 18 and for those who want one.
