A Wedding at the Bird Rock Hotel

We here at the Bird Rock Hotel love people in love. We love putting little notes in our guest’s rooms when there is an anniversary to celebrate. We love getting fresh roses, champagne and salted caramels for sweet Honey- and Babymooners. We get really excited when somebody plans to propose while staying with us;  even more so if we get to suggest some of our favorite places to pop the question.

But our absolute favorite is weddings. There is just something about two people deciding to throw in their lot together, to give it all, to take chances, be vulnerable and brave and to tell the whole world about it.

Last Spring Hannah and Kate did just that. They rented our entire hotel (something we do occasionally in the shoulder seasons, ask us), decorated our courtyard, had music and cupcakes and all their friends and family by their side.
